On December 18, Consul General Zhao Shiren attended the inauguration ceremony of China Investment Desk at Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA). RUDA Chairman Shahid Ashraf Tarar and Chief Operating Officer Mansoor Janjua were also present.

Consul General Zhao congratulated the inauguration of the Desk and commended the contribution of RUDA in promoting practical cooperation between Punjab and China. CG Zhao further expressed high hopes that the establishment of the Desk will help simplify the approval process of foreign investment projects, create a more business friendly environment for attracting more Chinese investment, and provide a new impetus for socioeconomic development of Punjab Province.

Chairman Shahid expressed his warm welcome to Consul General Zhao, thanked the Consulate General for its support and efforts, and hoped that exchanges and cooperation would be further strengthened in the future.
