The Chamber has offered assistance to Pakistan in the wake of the floods by raising funds to deliver food, medicine and tents worth 30 million rupees to the flood-affected areas in southern Punjab province, and it truly reflects the fine tradition of pulling together through thick and thin and rendering each other assistance in time of need between the two peoples. The upcoming 20th National Congress of the CPC   is a meeting of great importance taking place at a critical moment when China is embarking on a new journey toward the second centenary goal of building a modern socialist country in all respects. It will draw a new blueprint for China's development in the next five years and beyond, and inject new impetus to build a community with a shared future for mankind. With the strong leadership of the CPC, we will be able to realize the Chinese dream and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. China and Pakistan will be able to further deepen the all-weather strategic cooperative partnership and join hands to write a new chapter of friendship between the two countries.

Deputy Consul General Cao Ke also expressed his hope to the Chamber and the Chinese Community of the consular district by asking them to respect Pakistani laws and cultural customs, be honest and law-abiding, operate in accordance with regulations, strengthen security precautions, and live in harmony with Pakistani partners.
