On 15th June 2022, DCG Cao Ke was invited to attend the “Forum on the Celebration of 71st Anniversary of China-Pakistan Diplomatic Relations and Discussion about the Business Environment in Pakistan” organized by the Chinese Business Council Lahore.
    DCG Cao listened carefully to the inputs made by the representatives from the Council, understood in depth the production and operation status, security management and difficulties faced by them, and duly recognized the contributions made by the Chinese Business Council in helping China to fight against the pandemic, fulfill social responsibilities, and strengthen China-Pakistan economic and trade cooperation. To address the concerns of the overseas Chinese, DCG Cao apprised them of the work done by the Consulate General in assisting the implementation of chartered flights back to China, strengthening the cooperation with the law enforcement agencies in Pakistan, and improving the quality of consular services. The Consulate General in Lahore will continue to uphold the concept of “people-centric diplomacy”, provide professional service to Chinese citizens and Chinese enterprises in the consular district, help promote the resolution of practical difficulties faced by the Chinese enterprises and ensure the safety and legitimate rights for them.
