DCG Cao Ke Inspected Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Lahore

    On June 29, Deputy Consul General Cao Ke went to Lahore Chinese Visa Application Service Center to inspect and guide work. He had a discussion with the Manager Steven, and inspected the facilities such as security, waiting hall, service counters, video interview room to learn about the visa process. Acting Chief of Consular Section Du Yue accompanied the visit.
    The manager told that the center mainly receives visa applications from ordinary passport holders from Pakistan and other countries to China. In the past three years, under the guidance and support of the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan and the Consulate General in Lahore, the visa center has been operating smoothly and has got good response from the society. The center will strictly follow the relevant China’s visa policies and specific requirements, and receive & examine the applications in a rigorous, pragmatic and professional manner to further improve the quality of visa agency services.
    Deputy Consul General Cao said that as the construction of CPEC fares well, and the China-Pak cooperation in such fields as trade, industry and education are increasingly close, more and more people in the Punjab apply for visas to China. The Visa Center plays an important role in facilitating the process in a regulated and efficient manner. The Consulate General will continue to provide policy guidance and support to the Center, and jointly promote the orderly people-to-people exchanges between China and Pakistan.
    Lahore Chinese Visa Application Service Center was established in September 2019, which is one of the three major Chinese visa application service centers in Pakistan.
