On November 1, Consul General Zhao Shiren was invited to meet Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi at the CM’s office. Punjab Information and Culture Minister Amir Mir, Chairman Planning & Development Board Punjab Iftikhar Ali Sahoo and Secretary Finance Punjab Mujahid Sherdil attended the meeting.

    Consul General Zhao congratulated H.E. Mohsin Naqvi on his successful visit to Ningxia and said that the Consulate General is willing to continue to play its role to strengthen the cooperation between provinces and cities in China and Punjab in a bid to bring more tangible benefits to the people of Punjab.

    H.E. Mohsin Naqvi recalled with pleasure his participation in the 3rd Ningxia International Friendship City Forum and the 6th China-Arab States Expo, and thanked the government and people of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region for their hospitality. Naqvi said that the trip to Ningxia was a learning journey. Punjab province needs to learn from China, and looks forward to more exchanges and cooperation with Chinese provinces and cities, so as to promote the deepening of the bilateral traditional friendship and good relations.

    Both sides held in-depth exchanges on matters of mutual interest.
