    The Consulate General in Lahore officially opened on September 30, 2015. The consular district is Punjab Province of Pakistan (except Rawalpindi). Punjab Province is one of the important provinces in Pakistan, with a population of over 100 million, an area of one-fourth of Pakistan's land area, and a GDP accounting for more than 50%. Lahore is the capital of Punjab Province and the second largest city in Pakistan. It has a long history, splendid culture and a population of more than 10 million. It has the reputation of "City of Gardens" and "Heart of Pakistan".

    China-Pakistan friendship has become stronger as time goes by, and the traditional friendship has a long history. All relevant departments and localities in China have maintained friendly exchanges and cooperation with Punjab and Lahore. Chinese enterprises have actively participated in the relevant projects of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor in Punjab Province, built infrastructure, strengthened industrial cooperation, and made great contributions to the improvement of people's livelihood and economic and social development in the consular area.
